Parish Administrator

Church: Holy Trinity, Frogmore

Hours: 37 hours (or at least 0.8 full-time)

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000

Role description:  We are looking for a gifted and skilled Christian person to join the team to support our ministry. The purpose of the role is to manage and facilitate the day to day administrative operations of the church and its public witness in close cooperation with the Vicar and team. The job will be based on site in the church office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the vicar and church as a first port of call to the public
  • Manage parish communications
  • Run our administrative systems, including financial book keeping
  • Provide administrative support for church services & events
  • Provide support for staff and volunteers

About our church:  We are a bible-believing church of 100+ adults and 40+ children that meets in a village suburb of St Albans. We seek to bring glory to God by helping people to: know Jesus for themselves, whatever their background; grow in Jesus and be transformed by him; go to serve Christ in ministry: locally, nationally and globally. We do this through a wide range of evangelistic and social activities for all ages, all through the week. Our growing staff team includes a vicar, curate, children’s worker and parish centre administrator.
