Location: Eden Baptist Church, Cambridge
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours p/w)

Role:

We are seeking a new Operations Manager, to be responsible for ensuring that the church’s practical requirements are met in relation to the resources, activities and events of the church.

We are looking for a candidate who can take a strategic approach to facilitating the church’s vision and ministry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to our life and outreach.

This is a managerial role, meaning that it is not to say that the applicant will take on all the required jobs themselves but rather that they will enlist help to ensure that they are done. This will include working with other staff members and volunteers, particularly the Deacons. This is intended to allow the successful applicant to be more ‘hands on’ in areas of interest and gifting and to allow the flexibility to delegate where needed.

Compliance
HR/Team Management
Sunday Operations
Ministry support
Enabling IT, tech and systems
Finance
Project Management

The role is full time to include some Sunday mornings and evening meetings. The role would need to be based mainly in the Church office, although occasional working from home may be possible.
