Introducing Local Group Facilitators:
We’ve been reflecting on the name we use for the wonderful people who help bring our Local Groups together. We recognise that the title ‘Local Group Leader’ doesn’t necessarily resonate with everyone.
We asked our existing Group Leaders what they thought, and they chose a new title: ‘Local Group Facilitator’.
We hope this feels more welcoming and better reflects the role, which is about helping church administrators connect with others in their area, share experiences and build relationships with people who understand their work.
We’d love to see more Local Groups established across the UK, and we hope that this small change will encourage more people to consider getting involved. Anyone can help bring people together!
We’ll be gradually updating the new title across our website and other communications over the coming weeks.
